Airlines and Hotels

Student One Travel utilizes several air carriers for our Spring Break program which includes chartered aircraft and scheduled air. S1 carefully checks the credentials of all air carriers in order to ensure your clients reliable service. Flights are considered weekend departures, leaving Friday, Saturday or Sunday of your departure weekend. The finalized departure date will be given approximately 10 - 14 days prior to the trip. We recommend that you inform your clients about the weekend departures at the time of booking.

Spring Break is one of the busiest times of the year for travel destinations. During this season, hotel overbookings can occur and are beyond the control of Student One Travel. We have secured hotel contracts for both our spring and summer programs, so our company has more leverage than most tour operators in the event that the hotels become oversold. No tour operator can guarantee you that your clients will not get "bumped," unless they own the hotel. Our guarantee is that if we are unable to provide the hotel booked by your client, we will provide a property of equal or higher value (according to our brochure) or refund the difference. Please notify your clients of the possibility.

Reservations and Payments

We will accept reservations over the telephone, by mail, or by fax. Please call our toll free number (866)777-4642 to check on availability prior to booking your clients. Phone reservations will be held for 5 business days until deposits are received.

Deposits and final payments can be made by agency check, cashiers check or money order. Our brochure rates reflect prices based on forms of cash payment. To better serve you, please enclose an agency form with all payments. All final payments are due January the year you are traveling, or subject to immediate cancellation, or a $30 late/reinstatement fee.

Cancellations and Reservation Changes

Cancellations are subject to penalties. At the time of booking, please review our cancellation penalties,found on our flyer and brochure, with your clients. The $100 deposit is non-refundable. The $100 is non-transferable between your clients. Name changes must be approved with applicable fees. All reservation changes are subject to a $30 fee and must be received by fax (916)290-0350, email, or letter. All no-shows and passengers denied boarding for improper documentation are subject to full penalty and will receive no refund.

Commissions

Student One Travel offers competitive commissions and incentives for groups. Your agency may deduct your commission from your final payment.
