General Info

Group Size:
Our program is open to all students. Any number of students from a school can participate and there is no minimum or maximum group size.

Deposits & Payments:
A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to book your spring break trip. After we receive your deposit, you will be sent an invoice confirming your trip and outstanding trip balance. Final payment on your trip is due in our office January 9, but partial & full payments can be sent prior to the final deadline. Final payments can be made by cashier check, money order, or credit card. To avoid automatic cancellation of your trip please send final payment by the January 9 deadline.

Roommates:
Trip price is based on 4 people to a room. Student One Travel does not find or set up roommates for your group so if you have less than 4 people in your room you will incur an extra expense. This extra expense depending on room size being a triple, double or single must be paid in full prior to receiving your documents to travel.

Tickets & Flight Information:
The travel documents will be mailed to the student, group leader or campus representative 5 to 10 days prior to their departures. Your airline ticket is a voucher, which is to be presented at airport check-in. Along with your airline vouchers and itinerary, you will also receive last minute information and bag tags. Please review your travel documents prior to the day of travel. You must be at the airport 2 to 3 hours prior to your scheduled departure. Make sure you have the proper proof of citizenship for check-in at the airport. Once you arrive at your destination, lock up your remaining travel documents and your identification since you will not need it during your vacation.

Student One Travel Staff:
All of our destinations are fully staffed to assist you with your vacation needs. The staff will greet you at the airport, give you a welcome orientation and check you in to your hotel. During the week the staff will be present at all of our events. Please remember our staff are not chaperones but are there to assist you with any problems you may have.

Transportation on Location:
During orientation the staff will inform you of rates and hours of operation that the shuttle buses run throughout your destination Buses are the cheapest way to get around town. Taxis are available at all destinations but always negotiate the rate before you get in the cab. The bellman desk at your hotel can advise you of the going rates for cabs. Late at night never travel alone or allow your friends to leave a nightspot on her/his own.

Money Exchange:
We highly recommend that you bring travelers checks with you on your trip. For Cancun, you can exchange money at your hotel front desk or at the bank. You should only exchange what you need each day and leave the balance in your safety deposit box. The daily exchange rate is posted in your hotel lobby.

Location Activities:
Student One Travel has the best on location activities available. Our company only endorses those events and tours, which we know, are legitimate. We advise all our students to follow our activity schedule and if you do you will have the time of your life
